Installation Instructions

Outlook 2007
- You will receive an email from E-Stationery Depot with
your Email Business Card file attached. Right click on the
attachment name and select Save As.
Save the file to your Desktop
or another location on your hard drive.
We will show you how to set-up your Email Business Card as a
Signature. This will provide you with the most
flexibility in using your primary Email Business Card, switching
between Email Business Card templates if you have more than one, or
choosing to write a text only message.
- From the main Outlook window, on the
Tools menu, click
Options, and then click the
Mail Format tab.

- In the Compose in this
message format list, click
HTML.
- Un-check the
options under HTML format.
- Under Signatures, click the
Signatures... button.
- Click on New...

- Type in a name for your new signature.

Choose the button titled then click on OK.
- Select the Signature you just created and choose the
settings you want...

E-Mail account: Choose the
Email Address this Signature is associated with.
New messages: If you wish to
have your Email Business Card automatically present every time you
open a new email message then select it as the default for
New messages, however
if you do not want it to automatically be inserted select
<none> in the drop down menu.
Replies/forwards: If you wish to
have your Email Business Card automatically present every time you
reply to or forward an email then select it as the default for
Replies/Forwards, however
if you do not want it to automatically be inserted select
<none> in the drop down menu.
- Now go to the htm file you received from E-Stationery
Depot that you saved to your Desktop (or other specified
location) and open it up in your browser..

Click on Edit in the top menu. Click on Select
All.
Click on Edit again. Click on Copy.
- Go back to your Signatures and
Stationery window that should still be open.
Put your cursor over the content area of the edit signature
window at the bottom and then Right
Click.
Click Paste. Then click OK.

- Now your Email Business Card is installed and ready to use!
Simply compose a new message or reply to an existing message
and you will see your Email Business Card automatically appear for
you to type your message into the body of the email.
- SPECIAL NOTES
- The graphics on your Email Business Card may at times
look like they do not fit in boxes correctly or
there is added space in different parts of the
template. This is an Outlook issue and it DOES
correct itself when emailed. Test your Email
Business Card
and mail a message to yourself to make sure it works
properly. If you have any trouble please
contact us for technical support.
- If you do not want to use your Email Business
Card for
a particular message simply click your mouse to the
right of the Email Business Card and then press backspace
once or twice and the Email Business Card should disappear
for that email.
- Sometimes when you reply or forward a message
your Email Business Card may not appear. If this happens it
is likely that the original email was in plain text
mode. Just click on
Format from the top menu and click on
Plain Text,
then click Format
again and select
HTML. Then from the top menu
choose Insert,
then Signature
and choose your Email Business Card
template.
- Email Business Cards will view perfectly in mail
services such as Yahoo and Hotmail, however, since
those services do not support E-Stationery it is
likely that when they forward or reply to your email
it could distort the graphics.
- If you have multiple Email Business Card templates and
wish to switch to a different one, just erase the
one in your window, then from the
top menu choose
Insert, then
Signature
and choose your new Email Business Card template.
